Support our work
Online giving will open soon. In the meantime, register below and choose “Founding member” to be among the first to know.
HERA is not yet a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency, so we cannot issue tax receipts for now. We intend to apply for charitable registration and will announce the outcome.
All of our funding sources will be published in our public annual report. We do not accept money from governments or bodies that are the subject of our research.
Questions
Who can become a member?
Anyone who supports HERA’s purposes can register their interest today. The detailed terms of membership will be set out in the association’s by-laws.
Do I have to live in Canada?
No. Our board and our community already span several countries, and our work is international.
Is HERA political?
HERA is non-partisan. We speak about public policy on the basis of evidence, but we never support or oppose parties or candidates.
How will my data be used?
Only to reply to you, manage membership and send our letter if you ask for it. We never sell or share it.
